Why terminal operators call us first

Independent capacity, without the majors' queue

Moore Bulk Storage is one of the few independently owned bulk fuel operators left on the east–west corridor. That means no competing internal allocation, no shipper priority above yours — just tank space, throughput and a logistics team that answers the phone.

We store and move ULP 91/95/98, automotive diesel, Jet A-1 and fuel oil for refiners, importers, distributors and government fleets who need certainty their own network can't always give them.

  • Independently owned, since 2000

No parent refiner. Your allocation isn't second to anyone else's.

  • Real-time inventory visibility

Tank gauge data and load-out schedules available to your team, not just ours.

  • Storage and transport under one contract

Or either service on its own — your call, not a bundled requirement.

Live capacity, by product

Every tank is accounted for before you call

We quote against real ullage, not a spreadsheet estimate. Here's a representative split of our tankage across product groups — your account manager can share the current live figures on request.

How an account starts

Four steps from enquiry to first load-out

Step 01

Capacity check

Tell us product, volume and timing. We confirm live ullage against your window within one business day.

Step 02

Contract & onboarding

Storage, throughput or logistics agreement drafted, HSE induction scheduled, system access issued.

Step 03

First receival

Inbound cargo received by road, rail or marine berth, sampled, certified and allocated to your tank line.

Step 04

Ongoing throughput

Standing load-out slots, live inventory access, and a named account contact for every shift.

"We moved our regional diesel program to Moore Bulk Storage because they answered the ullage question with numbers, not a promise. Two years on, load-out has never been the thing we worry about."

Fleet Procurement Manager — Regional Distribution Group
Trusted by

Distributors, fleets and importers who can't afford a supply gap

From independent fuel distributors to state government fleet contracts, our clients share one requirement: product has to be where it's meant to be, on the day it's meant to be there. That's the standard every shift is measured against.

Questions we get before the first contract

We handle ULP 91, 95 and 98, automotive diesel (ADF), EN 590 10ppm export-spec diesel, Jet A-1, fuel oil, LPG and bitumen, with segregated tank lines and dedicated pipework for each product. Biodiesel blending is available on selected tanks — see the storage page for the current product-by-tank breakdown.
The terminal holds 189,000 kL across fixed, floating-roof and specialised tanks (including pressurised LPG bullets and a heated bitumen tank). Available ullage changes daily with throughput, so we confirm live capacity against your volume and timing directly — usually within one business day of enquiry. Full tank specifications are on the terminal page.
Either service stands alone. Some clients only need tank space and run their own transport; others use our fleet to move product they store elsewhere. Most combine both under a single throughput agreement because it removes a handover point — but it's never a requirement. See Storage and Logistics for details on each.
The terminal operates as a licensed Major Hazard Facility under AS 1940 tank standards, with full secondary containment, vapour recovery and a 24/7-staffed incident response team. We hold ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification. Our full environmental program is outlined on the sustainability page.
Yes, within fleet availability — priority load-out slots exist for supply-gap situations and we hold standing capacity for regional emergency response contracts. Call terminal dispatch directly on the number in the footer; urgent requests get a same-day answer, not a ticket number.
ISO 9001 (quality), ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 45001 (health and safety), National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) for mass, maintenance and fatigue, and Major Hazard Facility licensing under state dangerous goods legislation. Certificates are available on request through Contact.
Send product, volume and timing through the contact page or call terminal dispatch directly. We confirm ullage, issue a storage or throughput agreement, and can generally schedule a first receival within two weeks of a signed contract.
